SOAR is pleased to announce a number of new configurable fields to help customize your unit website to your specific needs. This will not only help our Pack and Troop customers but also our Crew, District, Ship, and OA customers as well.
- Browser Title
- Now you have full control over the Title that shows in the Browser Tab when someone visits your site, bookmarks your site, and what is displayed by the search engines.
- This settings is available at Admin/Control Panel/Unit Info/Browser Title.
- Note: this is separate from the Header Title which shows at the top each of your website pages which is also configurable.
- EBlast Display Name
- The new Display Name setting will allow you to customize three parts of the week EBlast feature.
- An eblast will come FROM the following address:
"display name" <eblast@domain.name>
- The SUBJECT LINE of the EBlast will be:
[display name] EBlast for DATE
- Note: if present, the word "EBlast" will be removed from the SUBJECT LINE. The Display Name "Troop 123 EBlast" will look like [Troop 123] in the SUBJECT LINE.
- The header in the EBlast itself will contain "display name".
- This setting is available at Admin/Email/EBlast/Settings.
- Email List Display Name
- All email FROM email lists will be in the following format:
"display name" <listadm@domain.name>
- This setting is available at Admin/Email/List Settings/Email Lists.
- Roster Menu Title
- Now you can configure the menu item title for the Roster feature,
- This setting is available at Admin/Member/Options/Roster Settings.
