Bug Fix: Editing Photo Albums

A condition was found that would cause the system to delete all the pictures in a Photo Album while simply editing the name/weight of a Photo Album.

This bug has been fixed.

New Feature: Select the image in your header

You can now select the image contained in the header (top) section of your pages from a library of images.

Go to the "Administration" menu, select "Site Settings", and then select "Header Image".

New Feature: Additional themes added

The first batch of themes have been added. A new link under "Administration/Site Settings" called "Site Theme" is now available for you to use.

We will continuing added new themes on a monthly basis.

Bug Fix: Welcome message was deleted

It was possible for a "leader" or "admin" to delete the Welcome message and not be able to re-create it.

The "delete" button for the Welcome message has been removed. The Welcome message can longer be deleted.

Bug Fix: Calendar month header not matching days layout

Using the calendar, it was possible under certain circumstances in the month view to display a calendar that had a month header that did not match the layout of the month days. i.e. Febrary 2007 was listed as the month but the display of the first day of the month (and subsequent days) did not match that the 1st was on a Thursday.

This problem has been resolved.

New Feature: Report problem

A new menu item as been added to the Administration menu for all "leader", "admin", "Add Content" and "Adminstration" accounts called "Report Problem".

This menu item should now be the primary method for reporting issues on your website. It will gather both your input an system information at the time the problem occurs to assist in diagnosing it.

New Feature: Welcome message modified

The Welcome message has been modified to only show for members if no other Announcements are available. Thus, when Announcements are posted the Welcome message will not be shown to members (only to visitors).

This will save valuable space on the members home page and move the latest announcement to the top of the page.

A link for the Welcome message has been added under the Administration/Manage menu. This can be used to access the Welcome message for editing when it is not present on the members home page.

New Feature: Captcha fonts updated

The fonts used for creating the Captcha (image verification on self user registration and password reset request) have been updated to a true type font.

This will make reading them much easier and users less likely to mis-read them.

Online help added

Online help has been added and is now available for "leader", "admin", "Add Content", and "Administer" accounts.

It is accessible from under the "Administration" menu on the left.

Den/Patrol Filter

For larger Packs and Troops, the Filter feature will be invaluable. This feature is available in the Standard and Advanced packages.

With this feature, you can divy up your Unit into segments such as Dens/Patrols, Leaders, etc... You can manage these segments under "Members" on the "Administration" menu by clicking on "Den" or "Patrol" button. Once you have created your filters, you can assign Announcements and Events to them.

A Den/Patrol Filter will now be displayed to all members under the "Menu" on the left. Members can select the filters they are interested in viewing and presto, all other content will not be displayed for them. This is accomplished by storing a "cookie" on the member's browser that remembers their setting. It will be there ready for them the next time they use the Unit's website.
